DETRALEX treats the symptoms of chronic venous disease, such as pain, heavy or tired legs. It also treats the symptoms of an acute hemorrhoidal episode. Detralex is a medicine with an active substance, purified micronized flavonoid fraction.

Bioflavonoids are active ingredients of the medicine's capillary stabilizing agents. The drug is used in adults for:

• Treatment of veno-lymphatic insufficiency with symptoms (feeling of heavy legs, tired legs in the morning, pain)
• Treatment of the functional symptoms of an acute state of hemorrhoidal disease

Medicine for internal use. Contains the active ingredient, a purified micronized flavonoid fraction.

Dosage and dosage regimens

Chronic venous disease: Treatment of venolymphatic insufficiency: the recommended dose is 2 tablets daily taken in the morning. Treatment should last at least 1 month.

Acute hemorrhoidal disease: Treatment of an acute hemorrhoidal attack: 6 tablets per day (3 tablets in the morning and 3 tablets in the evening) for 4 days, then 4 tablets per day (2 tablets in the morning and 2 tablets in the evening) for 3 days. Treatment for this indication is short-term.

Mode of use

Tablets are taken whole during meals and washed down with liquid.

Warning

It is better to avoid using the drug during pregnancy. Breastfeeding is not recommended during treatment. In women who are breast-feeding, a decision must be made whether to discontinue breast-feeding or to discontinue/abstain from the drug. The medicine is not intended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
