Indications:
It is a medicine that contains natural heparin in the form of a cream. In the composition of this medicine, in addition to heparin, allantoin and dexpanthenol have been added. Heparin has an anticoagulant effect by which it prevents the development of thrombi. The absorption of heparin through the skin is very rapid and it is deposited in the granular layer of the epidermis, thus manifesting an exclusively local action. Allantoin and dexpanthenol contribute to epithelialization, granulation and tissue regeneration.
The cream base promotes the penetration of active ingredients through the skin.
Hepathrombin cream is indicated as an adjuvant in:
-superficial venous thrombosis, thrombophlebitis, phlebitis, prevaricose syndrome, postphlebitic syndrome, leg ulcer;
-post-traumatic injuries: hematomas, contusions, dislocations;
-bursitis, tenosynovitis.
Composition:
- The active substances are: heparin sodium, allantoin and dexpanthenol
One gram of cream contains 500 IU of heparin sodium, 3 mg of allantoin and 4 mg of dexpanthenol.
Method of administration:
The treatment begins with Hepathrombin 500 IU/g, and for continued treatment and prevention,
Hepathrombin 300 IU/g.
The cream is applied to the affected skin area and the surrounding area 2-3 times a day and massaged in gently. In case of inflammation of the veins, the area is not massaged, but only applied in a thin layer to the affected area, then covered.

Contraindications:

Precautions:

Contact of the cream with the eyes or mucous membranes should be avoided. In the event of a skin rash, administration should be discontinued.
