Aspirin Plus C 400 mg/240 mg, 10 effervescent tablets, Bayer

ASPIRIN PLUS C contains acetylsalicylic acid and ascorbic acid as active ingredients and is used in adults and adolescents over 16 years of age for the symptomatic treatment of headache, toothache, sore throat, menstrual pain, muscle and joint pain, back pain and minor joint pain.

It is also used for the symptomatic treatment of pain and fever caused by colds and flu.

Active ingredients:

• Each effervescent tablet contains acetylsalicylic acid 400 mg, ascorbic acid 240 mg

How to use:

• Adults and adolescents (over 16 years of age): 1-2 effervescent tablets of ASPIRIN PLUS C (average 500 mg acetylsalicylic acid), repeated as necessary, at intervals of 4-8 hours, without exceeding the maximum daily dose of 4000 mg acetylsalicylic acid
• It is recommended not to exceed a dose of 1 g ascorbic acid per day for long-term use
• The effervescent tablets should be dissolved in a glass of water before administration
• This medicine should be administered according to the package leaflet and the recommendations of the doctor and pharmacist.

Precautions:

Do not use ASPIRIN PLUS C

• if you are allergic to acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or to any of the ingredients of this medicine
• if you have an active gastric or duodenal ulcer
• if you have a tendency to increased bleeding (hemorrhagic diathesis)
• if you have a history of bronchial asthma induced by the administration of salicylates or substances with a similar action, especially non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
• if you suffer from severe liver failure
• if you suffer from severe renal failure
• if you suffer from uncompensated heart failure
• if you suffer from phenylketonuria.

Consult your doctor before use:

• if you are using other medicines containing acetylsalicylic acid
• if you are regularly using painkillers
• if you have a history of ulcers or bleeding in the stomach or intestines or inflammation of the stomach lining (gastritis)
• if you suffer from liver, kidney, heart or circulatory problems
• if you suffer from bronchial asthma, various allergic reactions
• if you are about to undergo surgery
• if you are being treated simultaneously with other medicines.

Warnings:

• The use of acetylsalicylic acid in children is not recommended
• Do not take this medicine in the last trimester of pregnancy (after the 24th week of pregnancy)
• In the first and second trimester of pregnancy (within the first 24 weeks), you should consult your doctor before taking this medicine
• During breastfeeding, it is generally not necessary to interrupt breastfeeding if the medicine is used short-term in the recommended doses for pain or fever
• However, if in isolated cases high doses (more than 6 effervescent tablets per day) have been prescribed for long-term use, the patient should interrupt breastfeeding
• Do not use high doses of ASPIRIN PLUS C for long periods of time without the advice of a doctor
• ASPIRIN PLUS C contains 933 mg of sodium per effervescent tablet
