Paracetamol Sinus is indicated for the prophylaxis and treatment of allergic and vasomotor rhinitis and for the symptomatic treatment of the common cold and flu (for the relief of sneezing, rhinorrhea, nasal and sinus congestion, fever, headache and muscle pain).

Composition:

One tablet contains paracetamol 500mg, chloraniramine maleate 3mg, pseudoephedrine hydrochloride 30mg and excipients: povidone, pregelatinized starch, stearic acid, talc, magnesium stearate.

Method of administration:

• Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure
• For oral administration
• You should always use the lowest recommended effective dose to relieve your symptoms
• The tablets will be administered half an hour before meals; it is recommended to swallow the tablets with a sufficient amount of liquid
• Minimum interval between administrations: 4 hours
• Do not exceed the recommended dose or frequency of administration

Interactions:

• Morphine agonists, antacids, activated charcoal and anticholinergics decrease the rate of absorption of paracetamol, but not the total amount absorbed, and cisapride increases its rate of absorption
• The toxicity of paracetamol is increased by the simultaneous administration of ethyl alcohol, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, acetylsalicylic acid or other salicylates, barbiturates, carbamazepine, hydantoin, rifampicin, sulfinpyrazone, gold salts
• Paracetamol increases the risk of side effects of oral anticoagulants, antifungals - imidazole derivatives, carmustine and relatives, doxorubicin and relatives, isoniazid and relatives, mercaptopurine, cyclosporine, chloramphenicol, methotrexate
• Estrogens and estrogen-progestogen contraceptives increase the hepatic metabolism of paracetamol
• Paracetamol can reduce the side effects of interferon.
