Sinupret dragees is a herbal medicine, used for over 80 years in the treatment of acute and chronic inflammation of the paranasal sinuses. It is indicated for children from the age of 6, teenagers and adults.

Composition:

The active substances are:

• Verbena aerial parts, powder 18 mg
• Gentian root, powder 6 mg
• Aerial parts of sorrel, powder 18 mg
• Elder flower, powder 18 mg
• Cuckoo flower with calyx, powder 18 mg.

Administration method:

Always take Sinupret dragees exactly as shown in this leaflet

Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the dose for:

• Adults and adolescents over 12 years old is 2 tablets 3 times a day (6 tablets/day)
• Children aged between 6 and 11 years, the dose is 1 dragee 3 times a day (3 dragees/day).

Precautions:

Do not use Sinupret tablets:

• If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to gentian root, verbena aerial parts, sorrel aerial parts, elder flowers, cuckoo flowers or any of the other components of Sinupret tablets
• Take special care when using Sinupret tablets
• Please contact your doctor if symptoms last longer than 7-14 days or recur periodically.

Use of other medicines:

• No interactions with other drugs have been reported so far
• Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.

Using Sinupret dragees with food and drinks:

It's not necessary.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding:

• Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine
• Sinupret dragees should not be administered during pregnancy and breastfeeding only after a strict evaluation of the risk-benefit ratio by the doctor.

Driving and using machines:

• No special precautions are required.

Important information regarding some components of Sinupret tablets:

• This medicine contains glucose, lactose, sucrose and sorbitol
• If your doctor has warned you that you have an intolerance to some categories of carbohydrates, please ask him before taking this medicine.
