Nurofen for children 125 mg, 2 years, 10 suppositories, Reckitt Benckiser Healthcare

Nurofen for children 125 mg suppositories is used for the symptomatic, short-term treatment of fever and mild to moderate pain when oral medication is not possible or recommended, for example in case of vomiting.
- Relieves fever and pain in children
- Administered to children aged 2 years+
- It has analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic properties that reduce fever and pain in children.
Composition:
- The active substance is ibuprofen
- One suppository contains ibuprofen 125 mg.
Administration method:
- It is not intended for children with a body weight of less than 12.5 kg (children under 2 years of age).
The maximum daily dose of ibuprofen is 20-30 mg per kg of body weight, divided into 3 or 4 single doses (the interval between doses being 6-8 hours), as follows:
- children with body weight between 12.5-17 kg (from 2 to 4 years): 1 suppository maximum 3 times a day
- children with body weight between 17-20.5 kg (from 4 to 6 years): 1 suppository maximum 4 times a day.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Contraindications:
Do not use Nurofen for children 125 mg suppositories:
- if you or your child are allergic to the active substance or any of the other components of this medicine
- starting from the 6th month of pregnancy.
Precautions:
Before using Nurofen for children 125 mg suppositories, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
- If you become pregnant while taking Nurofen for children 125 mg suppositories, inform your doctor immediately
- During the first and second trimester of pregnancy, Nurofen for children 125 mg suppositories can only be used on the doctor's recommendation
- During the third trimester of pregnancy, Nurofen for children 125 mg suppositories should not be administered, as the risk of complications for both mother and child increases
- Ibuprofen (the active substance) and its metabolic compounds pass into breast milk in very small amounts
- Because no harmful effects have been observed in infants, it is not necessary to interrupt breast-feeding if the drug is administered in the recommended doses and for a short period of time in the treatment of mild to moderate pain.
Driving vehicles and using machines:
If administered for a short period of time and in the recommended doses, Nurofen for children 125 mg suppositories has no effect on the ability to drive or use machines.
