Composition:

The active substances are: Iberis amara extract – Iberis amara planta tota recens, angelica root extract – Angelicae radix, lemon balm leaf extract – Melissae folium, caraway fruit extract – Carvi fructus, celandine herb extract – Chelidonii herb, licorice root extract – Liquiritiae radix, chamomile flower extract – Matricariae flos, peppermint leaf extract – Menthae piperitae folium, milk thistle fruit extract – Silybi mariani fructus.

• Iberis amara extract – Iberis amara planta tota recens (1 : 1.5 – 2.5); extraction solvent: ethanol 50 % (v/v) -15 mL
• Angelica root extract – Angelicae radix (1 : 2.5 – 3.5); extraction solvent: ethanol 30 % (v/v) – 10 mL
• Lemon balm leaf extract – Melissae folium (1 : 2.5 – 3.5); extraction solvent: ethanol 30 % (v/v) – 10 mL
• Caraway fruit extract – Carvi fructus (1 : 2.5 – 3.5); extraction solvent: ethanol 30 % (v/v) – 10 mL
• Celandine herb extract – Chelidonii herba (1 : 2.5 – 3.5; extraction solvent: ethanol 30 % (v/v) – 10 mL
• Licorice root extract – Liquiritiae radix (1 : 2.5 – 3.5); extraction solvent: ethanol 30 % (v/v) – 10 mL
• Chamomile flower extract – Matricariae flos (1 : 2 - 4); extraction solvent: ethanol 30 % (v/v) – 20 mL
• Peppermint leaf extract – Menthae piperitae folium (1 : 2.5 – 3.5); extraction solvent: ethanol 30 % (v/v) – 5 mL
• Milk thistle fruit extract – Silybi mariani fructus (1 : 2.5 – 3.5); solvent extraction: ethanol 30 % (v/v) – 10 mL.

How to use:

Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Unless otherwise prescribed, Iberogast should be taken 3 times a day, before or during meals with a little water, as follows:

• Adults and adolescents over 13 years of age 20 drops
• Children between 6 and 12 years of age 15 drops
• Children between 3 and 5 years of age 10 drops

If symptoms worsen or do not improve after 7 days, consult a doctor.

There is practically no restriction on the duration of use. The duration of use depends on the nature, severity and course of the disease.

Shake the bottle well before use.

• There is not enough data available on use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. It is preferable to avoid the use of Iberogast during pregnancy and breastfeeding. However, Iberogast should only be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding after consulting a doctor.

Driving and using machines:

• The effects of Iberogast on the ability to drive and use machines are not known.

Contraindications:

Do not use Iberogast: if you are allergic to the active substances or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
