Acc 200, 20 effervescent tablets, Sandoz

Indications:

• In all respiratory diseases accompanied by abundant mucous secretions.
• In pneumology: In acute and chronic forms of respiratory diseases, especially in acute and chronic bronchitis, bronchiectasis, asthmatic bronchitis, bronchial asthma, bronchiolitis, mucoviscidosis.colitic in the case of acute and chronic diseases of bronchitis and lungs, with viscous mucous secretion.

Composition:
One effervescent tablet contains 200 mg acetylcysteine, ascorbic acid (vitamin C); lactose, mannitol; saccharin sodium, flavors. An effervescent tablet contains less than 0.1 BE digestible carbohydrates.

Administration method:
If there is no other indication, it will be administered as follows:
In acute diseases: - in children between 6-14 years old, 2 times a day one effervescent tablet of ACC 200 (corresponding to 2 x 200 mg);
- for adults 3 times a day one effervescent tablet of ACC 200 (corresponding to 3 x 200 mg).
In chronic diseases: - in adults 2 times daily one effervescent tablet of ACC 200 (corresponding to 2 x 200 mg).
In cystic fibrosis: - in children over 6 years old, 3 times a day one effervescent tablet of ACC 200 (corresponding to 3 x 200 mg).
The effervescent tablets are administered dissolved in 1/2 glass of water.
The duration of the treatment will be determined according to the clinical picture. In acute conditions, the duration of treatment is generally between 5-7 days. In cystic fibrosis, a longer treatment will be done, in order to obtain the best effect. In chronic conditions, the doctor determines the duration of the treatment.

Contraindications:
Do not take ACC effervescent tablets:

• If you are allergic to acetylcysteine ​​or any of the other components of this medicine;
• Do not use: For children under 2 years of age;
• The whole tablet in children aged 2 to 5 years.

Before using ACC effervescent tablets, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Task:
As there is insufficient experience regarding the use of acetylcysteine ​​in pregnant women, ACC effervescent tablets should be used during pregnancy only if your doctor considers it absolutely necessary.
Breastfeeding:
No data are available on the excretion of acetylcysteine ​​in breast milk. Therefore, you should use ACC effervescent tablets during breastfeeding only if your doctor considers it absolutely necessary.

Driving vehicles and using machines:
ACC effervescent tablets have no known influence on the ability to drive vehicles and use machines.
