Femibion® 2 Pregnancy is a dietary supplement designed to meet the needs of women from the 13th week of pregnancy until the day of delivery, as a supplement to a healthy diet.

A single preparation in two forms: capsules and tablets, provides the body with the essential unsaturated omega-3 fatty acid docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) from fish oil, as well as high levels of folic acid, B vitamins (B6, B12, riboflavin, thiamine, pantothenic acid), vitamins C and D, and minerals (iron, selenium, zinc, magnesium, iodine, and copper).

Calcium L-methylfolate is a directly available form of folate (the active form of folic acid), which the body does not need to convert before utilizing.

Maternal intake of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) contributes to the normal brain and eye development of the fetus and breastfed infant. Beneficial effects are obtained with a daily intake of 200 mg of DHA in addition to the recommended daily intake of omega-3 fatty acids for adults, i.e., 250 mg of DHA and EPA.

• Folate plays an important role in late pregnancy, contributing to the growth of maternal tissue. Additionally, it supports the proper synthesis of amino acids, while also playing a role in proper blood production.
