The new Femibion® 2 Pregnancy and Breastfeeding formula has the same indications but more benefits for you and your baby! It is administered from the 13th week of pregnancy until the end of breastfeeding, as a supplement that accompanies a varied and balanced diet.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding.

This dietary supplement provides you with the folate and DHA you need during the 2nd and 3rd trimesters of pregnancy and while breastfeeding.

Folic acid contributes to the growth of maternal tissue during pregnancy (e.g. the placenta). The placenta provides all nutrients to the baby. Therefore, it is recommended to ensure an adequate folate intake throughout pregnancy.

The folates in Femibion® 2 - Pregnancy and Breastfeeding are folic acid and Metafolin®. Metafolin® is a directly usable form of folate that the body does not need to convert into its biologically active form.

Maternal intake of DHA (an Omega-3 fatty acid) contributes to maintaining normal brain function and maintaining normal vision.

In addition to folate and DHA, Femibion® 2 - Pregnancy and Breastfeeding contains ten vitamins, including vitamin D, as well as iodine, iron, selenium, magnesium, zinc and lutein.

Magnesium contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Femibion® 2 - Pregnancy and Breastfeeding includes Omega-3 fatty acids (DHA) and lutein in an additional capsule. Lutein gives the capsule its characteristic color.

You can choose to breastfeed your baby. Breastfeeding helps you establish a strong bond with your baby, providing him with all the essential nutrients.
When breastfeeding, dietary intake requirements are higher for certain nutrients. For example, special attention is recommended for the intake of Omega-3 fatty acids (DHA), which contribute to the maintenance of normal brain function and normal vision. Therefore, in addition to the recommended daily intake of 250 mg of Omega-3 fatty acids (DHA) for adults, an additional dose of 200 mg of DHA (which represents 80% of the Nutritional Reference Value - NRV) is recommended.

Concentrated fish oil rich in DHA; fish gelatin; firming agent: glycerol; safflower seed oil; thickening agent: mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids; DL-α-tocopheryl acetate (Vitamin E); lutein; antioxidant: tocopherol-rich extract; emulsifier: lecithin."

Method of administration:

One tablet and one capsule per day, with sufficient water.
