Dulcopic, 7.5 mg/ml, 15 ml, oral drops, Sanofi

Dulcopic® is a laxative in the form of oral drops with dual action: it activates intestinal transit and decreases stool consistency (softens stool).

It acts directly against constipation, specifically stimulating the natural process of stool elimination.

Suitable for use in children and adults aged 0-99 years.

INGREDIENTS

One milliliter (15 drops) of oral drops contains 7.5 mg Sodium Picosulfate solution.

HOW TO USE

For the treatment of constipation

For children aged 0-4 years: the recommended dose is 1 drop /2 kg of body weight per day.

For children aged 4-10 years: the recommended dose is 5-10 drops per day. Start with 5 drops. The dose can be adjusted up to a maximum of 10 drops, without exceeding this dose.

For adults and children over 10 years of age: the recommended dose is 10-20 drops per day. Start with 10 drops. The dose can be adjusted up to a maximum of 20 drops, without exceeding this dose.

Dulcopic® should be administered in the evening, so that evacuation occurs the following morning.

If after 5 days you do not feel better or you feel worse, you should consult a doctor.

If you are suffering from temporary cessation of peristaltic movements or acute surgical abdomen, including appendicitis, acute inflammatory bowel disease and severe abdominal pain associated with nausea and vomiting, consult your doctor for advice.

In children under 10 years of age, the medicine will be administered on the recommendation of a doctor.

Use within 6 months after opening the bottle.
