Description
EFSA recommends that women who are trying to conceive or are pregnant take additional folic acid as a dietary supplement. Folic acid supplementation increases maternal folate levels. Low maternal folate levels are a risk factor for neural tube defects in the developing fetus. Bonusan Active Folic Acid 400 mcg Plus contains folic acid in the form of Quatrefolic® glucofolate. This active form of folic acid is readily available to the body and contributes to the growth of maternal tissues during pregnancy. • Specially formulated for women who are pregnant or trying to conceive. • With added vitamin B12, which contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism. • Active folic acid in the form of folate.
Composition
Active folic acid (as folate, 5MTHF-glucosamine, Quatrefolic®) 400.00 mcg 200% Active vitamin B12 (as methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin/dibencozide) 7.50 mcg 300%
Instructions for use
Unless otherwise directed, it is recommended to take one tablet daily during or immediately after meals. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Store in a dry place at room temperature.

Bulking agent (microcrystalline cellulose), anti-caking agent (magnesium salts of fatty acids), (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid/glucosamine salt, adenosylcobalamin, methylcobalamin. Does not contain: Corn, yeast, gelatin, preservatives, dyes, flavors or artificial flavors.
