PREGNANCY

PHARMACOKINETICS

Simethicone is not absorbed through the gastrointestinal mucosa and is eliminated entirely in the feces.

INDICATIONS

- Symptomatic relief of [AEROPHAGIA] and/or [FLATULENCE].

LACTATION

It is unknown whether this drug is excreted in breast milk; however, excretion is not expected due to the lack of maternal gastrointestinal absorption. Generally accepted use.

CHILDREN

RULES FOR CORRECT ADMINISTRATION

* Chewable tablets: Chew the tablets well before swallowing (they should not be swallowed whole), administered after meals.

POSOLOGY

* Capsules and tablets:
- Adults and children over 12 years, oral: 120 mg 3-4 times a day or 240 mg twice a day, after meals. Maximum dose: 500 mg/day.

PRECAUTIONS

- A maximum treatment duration of 15 consecutive days is recommended. If symptoms persist after this time, the clinical situation should be reassessed.

PRECAUTIONS RELATED TO EXCIPIENTS

- This medicine contains glucose. Patients with glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this medicine.

ADVERSE REACTIONS

OVERDOSE
