Ingredients:
The upper part of the plant Artemisia absinthium L., fam. Asteraceae, which contains volatile oil in which thujone predominates; bitter substances; flavones; phytosterols; tannin; organic acids.
Effects:
Bitter tonic, aperitif, stomachic (stimulates the secretion of gastrointestinal juices), cholagogue (stimulates the elimination of bile), disinfectant and anti-inflammatory of the digestive tract; anthelmintic, antipyretic, emmenagogue (favors the initiation of the menstrual cycle).
Uses:
Anorexia, dyspepsia, intestinal parasites.
Biliary dyskinesia, fever.
Contraindications:
It is not indicated in hyperacid gastritis, gastric and duodenal ulcer, epilepsy and in case of hypersensitivity to this plant.
This tea is not indicated for pregnant women and nursing mothers.
Method of preparation:
Pour 200 ml of boiling water over a teaspoon of the herb and leave covered for 10-15 minutes, then strain.
Way of ussage:
- Drink 2 cups of tea a day, before meals.
- Duration of the belt - 2 weeks. It can be repeated after a break of one month.
- Do not exceed the recommended dosage and administration period.
