Neurobion Advance is available in a box of 30film-coated, easy-to-administer tablets. Each tablet contains the following active ingredients:

• Vitamin B1 (thiamine mononitrate): 100 mg
• Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride): 50 mg
• Vitamin B12 (cyancobalamin): 1 mg

Neurobion tablets is indicated for the treatment and prevention of various neurologic and metabolic disorders, including:

• Neuritis and neuralgia (e.g. cervical syndrome, sciatica, low back pain)
• Alcoholic polyneuropathy
• Diabetic neuropathy, including impotence due to autonomic neuropathy
• Metabolic and neuropathic changes associated with pregnancy and oral contraceptives
• Nausea and vomiting during pregnancy
• Drug-induced neuropathies
• Adjuvant therapy after major surgery or debilitating illness.

Vitamins B1, B6 and B12 act synergistically to protect nerve health when combined with a balanced lifestyle of diet and exercise. Vitamin B1 (thiamine) energizes nerve cells, vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) helps restore nerve signals, and vitamin B12 (cyancobalamin) supports nerve fibre regeneration.

The recommended dose for adults is 1 film-coated tablet a day, taken with or after a meal, with a glass of water.

In severe cases, the dose may be increased under medical supervision to 3 tablets per day. The duration of treatment depends on the nature of the condition and will be decided by the doctor.

Administration of Neurobion is contraindicated in the following cases:

• Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the product
• Children and adolescents under 18 years of age

Important! Prolonged treatment or exceeding the prescribed dose may lead to adverse effects, especially associated with vitamin B6. In case of unusual symptoms, use should be stopped and the doctor should be contacted.

Like any product, Neurobion can cause side effects, although not all patients experience them. These include:

• Allergic reactions (itching, hives)
• Gastrointestinal symptoms (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain)
• Headaches

Vitamin B6 may reduce the effectiveness of certain medications such as levodopa, used in Parkinson's disease, amiodarone or some antihypertensive drugs.

Patients should inform their doctor of all medications or supplements used concomitantly, especially those for chronic conditions.

Although overdosage with vitamin B1 is not known, large and prolonged doses of vitamin B6 can cause peripheral neuropathy and motor disturbances.

In case of suspected overdose, patients should consult their doctor immediately.

Neurobion should be stored below 25°C, away from moisture and direct light. The product should be kept out of the reach of children and used only until the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
