Resource Protein is a nutritionally complete, high-protein liquid diet. Food for special medical purposes, for the dietary management of malnutrition and/or risk of malnutrition, which may be accompanied by increased protein requirements associated with disease, such as:

• In cancer diseases
• In elderly people
• In the perioperative period
• During the convalescence period

It is worth using Resource Protein because:

• Increases the amount of high-quality protein in the diet (1 package contains 18.8 g of protein)
• Increases the amount of energy in the diet (1 package is 250 kcal)
• Prevents meal monotony (different flavors)

In 2017, the manufacturer of Resource products conducted a consumer study in which patients assessed the vanilla-flavored Resource 2.0 and strawberry-flavored Resource Protein products*.

Ingredients

Water, milk proteins, glucose syrup, sucrose, vegetable oil (rapeseed), minerals (potassium chloride, potassium citrate, sodium citrate, magnesium citrate, magnesium oxide, iron (II) sulphate, zinc sulphate, manganese sulphate, copper (II) sulphate, sodium fluoride, chromium (III) chloride, sodium molybdate, potassium iodide, sodium selenite), emulsifier (E471), flavouring, starch, vitamins (C, E, niacin, pantothenic acid, B6, A, thiamine, riboflavin, folic acid, K, biotin, D), stabiliser (carrageenan), colour (E120).
Gluten-free. UHT sterilized. Packaged in a protective atmosphere.

Recommended intake:

As a dietary supplement: 1-3 bottles per day, or as the sole source of nutrition: as recommended by a physician.

Important information:

Use under medical supervision. Suitable for use as a sole source of nutrition. This product is not intended for parenteral use.
Suitable for ages 3 years and over. For oral or tube feeding. Do not add food or medication if the product is being administered by tube feeding.

How to use and store:

Best served chilled. Store the unopened container in a cool, dry place. After opening, reseal any unused portion, refrigerate, and consume within 24 hours. Any portion transferred to another container should be resealed and consumed within 6 hours.
UHT sterilized. Packaged in a protective atmosphere.
