Coriander, turmeric, chili, mustard, cumin, pepper, fenugreek, garlic, salt, fennel. Madras Curry is a blend of aromatic spices, specially imported from Madras and can be used for various authentic Indian curry dishes.
Curry is a mixture of dark yellow to orange spices with a specific taste. Curry powder was invented by the English colonists in India in an attempt to encompass the diversity of Indian cuisine in a single concoction. Currently, curry powder is spread in multiple combinations throughout the world. There is no unique recipe and not even a standard one, it may include 10-20 spices, but no curry mixture is without turmeric powder, the one that gives the color to this mixture. Depending on the assortment, the ingredients of the curry mixture are fruity, aromatic or spicy. It can be added to dishes with rice, meat, fish and vegetables.
