Indications:

The active substance is flurbiprofen. Flurbiprofen belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), which work by changing the way the body responds to pain, inflammation and increased temperature.
Faringo Intensiv is used for the short-term relief of throat symptoms such as sore throat, pain, difficulty swallowing and inflammation in adults aged 18 years and over.

Composition:
The active substance is flurbiprofen. One dose (3 sprays) contains flurbiprofen 8.75 mg. One spray contains flurbiprofen 2.92 mg. One milliliter of oropharyngeal spray solution contains flurbiprofen 17.16 mg.

Administration method:
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The recommended dose is:
Adults 18 years of age and older: One dose of 3 sprays in the back of the throat, 3-6 hours apart, as needed, up to a maximum of 5 doses in a 24-hour period.
One dose (3 sprays) contains flurbiprofen 8.75 mg.
Use in children and adolescents
Do not use this medicine in children or adolescents under 18 years of age.
For oropharyngeal administration only.
- Spray only on the back of the neck.
- Do not inhale while spraying
- Do not use more than 5 doses (15 sprays) within 24 hours.
Faringo Intensiv is intended for short-term use only.

Contraindications:
Do not take Faringo Intensiv if:
- you are allergic to flurbiprofen, other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), acetylsalicylic acid or any of the other components of this drug.

Precautions:
Before using Faringo Intensiv, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Task:
Do not take this medicine if you are in the last 3 months of pregnancy.
If you are in the first 6 months of pregnancy, talk to your doctor before taking this medicine.
Lactation:
Do not use this medicine if you are breast-feeding.
Fertility
Flurbiprofen belongs to a group of medicines that can affect fertility in women. This effect is reversible once the use of the drug is stopped. Occasional use of this medicine is unlikely to affect your ability to get pregnant; however, tell your doctor before taking this medicine if you have trouble getting pregnant.

Driving vehicles and using machines:

This medicine should not affect your ability to drive or use machines.
However, dizziness and visual disturbances are possible side effects after taking NSAIDs. If it affects you, do not drive or use machines.
