(Plantago afra L.), also known as African plantain, is a unique plant whose seeds are a source of dietary fiber, especially in insoluble form. When the seeds are submerged in water, they begin to swell, covering themselves in a delicate, viscous gel that comes mainly from their outer shell. When added to a liquid, Psyllium has the ability to swell up to 50 times its original volume.
Now ® Psyllium Husk 200 vegan capsules allows over 2 months of supplementation. If you have trouble swallowing the capsule, its contents can be poured and consumed during the meal, for example as an addition to dessert or with a drink.
