Corsodyl mouthwash, 300 ml, Gsk

Properties:
Medicine that is not issued on the basis of a medical prescription - OTC.
The active substance, chlorhexidine digluconate, is known to have antibacterial action. This means that it destroys a wide variety of bacteria, fungi, and some viruses that cause inflammation and infection of the oral cavity, reducing the formation of bacterial plaque on the teeth and gums.
It is used for:

• inhibition of bacterial plaque formation;
• treatment and prophylaxis of gingivitis, which causes redness, inflammation and sometimes bleeding of the gums;
• maintaining the hygiene of the oral cavity, especially when tooth brushing cannot be performed adequately (after oral surgery or in patients with physical and mental disabilities);
• contribution to the healing process after surgical interventions or dental treatments;
• treatment of recurrent aphthous oral ulcers and oral canker sores;
• treatment of ulcerations caused by dentures (denture stomatitis) and recurrent oral candidiasis;
• in periodontal diseases after treatment.

Indications:
Treatment and prevention of gingivitis. Pre and post periodontal surgery. Recurrent oral ulcers, canker sores, prosthetic stomatitis. Candida albicans infections or susceptibility to infections. Patients with rampant caries or increased risk of caries development. Adjuvant in oral hygiene.

Ingredients:
100 ml of solution contain 0.2 g of chlorhexidine gluconate, ethanol, macrogolglycerol hydroxystearate, sorbitol, mint flavor, purified water.

Administration method:
For external use only, in the oral cavity. Use 2 times a day. For gingivitis, a 1-month treatment is recommended.
For mouth ulcers and canker sores: use for 2 more days after healing, up to a maximum of one month. For denture stomatitis: in addition to the treatment described above, the denture should be cleaned and kept in Corsodyl for 15 minutes, 2 times a day.

3-Do not swallow the mouthwash, it will be spit out after rinsing the mouth. -Do not use anywhere other than in the mouth. Avoid contact with eyes or ears. If it comes into contact with eyes or ears, wash immediately with plenty of water. -Do not use immediately after using the toothpaste (see How to use Corsodyl Mint Mouthwash). -Corsodyl Mint Mouthwash contains macrogolglycerol hydroxystearate. May cause skin (skin) reactions. - Corsodyl Mint Mouthwash contains sorbitol. If your doctor has warned you that you have an intolerance to some categories of carbohydrates, please ask him before using this medicine.

• Do not exceed the recommended dose.
• Elderly and children aged 12 and over
• There is no special dosage regimen for these age groups.
• The recommended dose is that for adults, except in cases where the family doctor or the dentist makes another recommendation.
• Children under 12 years of age
• Children under the age of 12 should not use Corsodyl Mint Mouthwash without the recommendation of a dentist.
