Description
Calgel gum gel, 10 g, Johnson & Johnson
Calgel is indicated during the period of teething to relieve and soothe pain associated with teething.
Calgel also has mild antiseptic properties.
Composition:
- The active substances are: lidocaine hydrochloride and cetylpyridine chloride
- The other ingredients are: sorbitol solution 70% (non-crystallized), xylitol, ethanol 96%, glycerol, hydroxyethylcellulose 5000 cP, hydrogenated castor oil (Cremophor RH 40), Laureth 9, macrogol 300, sodium saccharin, levomenthol, Herbal flavor, caramel (E 150 c), citric acid monohydrate, sodium citrate dihydrate, purified water.
How to use:
- Always use this medicine exactly as written in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure
- Apply a small amount of gel approximately 7.5 mm long (approximately 0.22g) to the tip of a clean finger, and gently massage the affected area of the child's gums
- If necessary, the application can be repeated
- You must wait at least 2 hours before applying the product again
- You should not exceed 6 applications per day
- If you have any further questions on this product, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Contraindications:
Do not use Calgel if you are allergic to the active substances or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
Precautions:
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Calgel.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding:
- This medicine is indicated for children over 3 months of age, therefore it is not used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Driving and using machines:
- Not applicable.
