Sterile ophthalmic solution containing liposomes, vitamin A, vitamin E and amino acids that stabilize the lipid layer of the tear film, regulating and correcting the lubrication of the ocular surface.

Vitamins A and E, known for their soothing and emollient properties, act synergistically with liposomes (hydrogenated phosphatylcholine) to provide functional support to the lipid component present in the eyelid margin.

In addition, vitamins A and E, as stabilizers of liposomes, help to improve ocular and periocular symptoms associated with allergic and/or infectious inflammatory conditions.

The amino acids L-proline, L-glycine, L-lysine hydrochloride and L-leucine contained in the product increase the lubrication of the ocular surface and may contribute to improved protection of epithelia subjected to various types of stress.

The lipid component of the tear film is essential for containing the tear fluid and controlling its evaporation.

The use of LACRISEK Free ophthalmic solution supports the function of the lipid secretions of the ocular adnexa (Meibomian, Zeiss and Moll glands), contributing to the stabilization of the lipid component of the tear film.

It is indicated for subjective conditions associated with dry eye syndrome, such as foreign body sensation, burning and itching, for tear production caused by inadequate production of lipids in the tear film or for conditions that can cause ocular redness, often associated with changes in environmental factors (wind, microclimate).

Ingredients:

Retinyl palmitate (vitamin A), α-tocopherol (vitamin E), hydrogenated phospholipids, sodium monosodium phosphate, sodium disodium phosphate, sodium chloride, L-proline, L-glycine, L-lysine hydrochloride and L-leucine.

How to use:

The product is instilled directly onto the ocular surface according to the following dosage regimen: instill 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac 4 times a day or as needed or as recommended by your doctor.

Warnings:

• Keep out of reach of children
• In case of concomitant administration with topical ophthalmic medications, consult a doctor
• Do not use if the bottle is damaged
• As the solution in the bottle gradually dries, it will be necessary to apply more force to release a drop
• Do not use the product after the expiration date indicated on the bottle
• The product is intended for external ophthalmic use only
• To eliminate the risk of contamination of the solution, avoid contact of the pipette with the eye or other objects
• Reclose the bottle tightly after use
• There are no known side effects after administration of the product
• In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use and consult a doctor
• A slight and temporary blurring of vision may occur after application of the product
• Contraindicated for known hypersensitivity to the components of the product or to other closely related chemicals.
