Rotadeno-Screen® is an immunodiagnostic test performed at home, allowing the detection of rotavirus and/or adenovirus antigens in stool . Rotaviruses and adenoviruses are the leading cause of gastrointestinal infections (and other associated syndromes) in humans, particularly in children, the elderly, and immunocompromised patients.

The Rotadeno-Screen® test can be performed in case of a stomach and intestinal infection, inflammation of the digestive system and in case of acute diarrhea, vomiting, weakness and fever. It is easy and quick to use, the result is obtained after only 10 minutes. It can be performed at any time of the day when a bowel movement occurs. The result is read from two different reagent strips placed in the same cassette (test device). Each strip is used to detect a specific virus, i.e. one detects rotavirus, the other adenovirus. A positive test result in the upper window means that rotavirus antigen is present in the sample, and in the lower window - adenovirus antigen is present. If the test is positive, see your doctor.
