Description
Only on the doctor's recommendation, apply for extra-articular rheumatism, such as juxta-articular diseases, intervertebral disc diseases, idiopathic lumbago, various pain syndromes. The drug can be used by adults and adolescents. Children only on doctor's recommendation.
Features
The drug is diclofenac, a derivative of phenylacetic acid, which has excellent antiphlogistic, antirheumatic and analgesic properties. The composition of this non-greasy, creamy gel allows easy penetration through the skin, and thanks to its water-alcohol base, it has a pleasant cooling and calming effect. Experiments on animals have proven that, in the case of local application, the drug is absorbed through the skin into the subcutaneous tissue and thus relieves acute and chronic inflammatory reactions. In the case of traumatic and rheumatic inflammations, the antiphlogistic and analgesic properties of the Flector EP gel are manifested by reducing the pain caused by pressure and movement, as well as reducing the swelling.
Contraindications
The gel should not be used in case of confirmed special hypersensitivity to diclofenac, auxiliary substances in the drug, acetylsalicylic acid or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and antirheumatic drugs. The drug should not be applied during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Children and patients with bronchial asthma and urticaria can use the medicine only on the recommendation of the doctor.
Dosage and method of administration
3-4 times a day 2-4 g of gel (on the tip of 1-2 fingers). The gel should be rubbed in easily, in case of muscle pain, massage the painful area. Flector EP gel can also be used as adjunctive therapy with other non-steroidal anti-rheumatic and anti-inflammatory drugs containing diclofenac.

Warning

Adverse effects
Flector EP gel is generally well tolerated. In sensitive patients, itching, burning of the skin, reddening of the skin, rarely rashes and hypersensitivity to light may occur. When treating larger areas with Flector EP gel, systemic side effects cannot be excluded. In case of sensitivity to salicylic acid and hypersensitivity to additive substances, despite local application, side effects cannot be completely excluded, e.g. asthma, angioedema, urticaria. Patients with asthma and hives are particularly prone to this. If you notice side effects other than those described, tell your doctor or pharmacist.
