Indications:

• Bromhexin Atb is part of the class of drugs known as cough and cold preparations; expectorants, exclusively combinations with antitussives, mucolytics.
• Bromhexine Atb prevents the accumulation of viscous mucus, fluidizing the bronchial secretion and easing the cough.

Composition:
The active substance is bromhexine hydrochloride. Each tablet contains bromhexine hydrochloride 8 mg.

Administration method:

• Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor
• you or your pharmacist if you are not sure.
• The usual dose for adults is 1-2 tablets 3 times a day, maximum 6 tablets a day.
• For children under 10 years of age, it is recommended to use pharmaceutical forms adapted to their age.
• For children over 10 years old, it is ½-1 tablet 3 times a day.
• Do not crush or chew the tablets. Swallow them whole, with a sufficient amount of water.
• Do not exceed 8-10 days of treatment without the doctor's recommendation.

Contraindications:
Do not use Bromhexin Atb:
- if you are allergic to bromhexine hydrochloride or any of the other components of this medicine.

Precautions:
Before using Bromhexin Atb, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:

• If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
• Since this drug crosses the placental barrier, the administration of this drug should be avoided, especially during the first 3 months of pregnancy.
• It is not recommended to take bromhexine during breastfeeding.

Driving vehicles and using machines:
Bromhexine Atb has no or negligible influence on the ability to drive vehicles or use machines.
