Bronchostop is a herbal medicine with traditional use used to favor the expectoration of persistent, viscous mucus and to relieve throat irritation in coughs associated with colds.
This medicine from medicinal plants with traditional use is used for the specified indication exclusively on the basis of long-term use.
If after 5 days you do not feel better or if you feel worse, you must contact a doctor.

Composition:

An oral gum contains:
Extract (as dry extract) from the leaf of Thymus vulgaris L. and Thymus zygis L. (thyme leaf) (7-13:1) 51.1 mg. Extraction solvent: water.
Extract (as dry extract) of Althaea officinalis L. (mallow root) 4.5 mg. Extraction solvent: water.

Administration method:

Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 1 - 2 oral gums every 3 to 4 hours (4 to 6 times a day).
Children aged between 6 and 12 years : 1 oral gum 3 times a day.

It is NOT indicated for use in children under 6 years of age, because there are not enough data available and because of the risk of unintentionally swallowing the entire oral gum.
For oral administration (let it dissolve in the mouth by sucking).

Duration of use:

• You must see a doctor if the symptoms persist or do not improve significantly after 5 days of using the medicine.
• If you have taken a considerably higher dose of this medicine, the symptoms of the known adverse reactions may appear more intensely. In this case, please contact your doctor. If necessary, the doctor can decide on the necessary measures.
• Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
• If you have any additional questions about this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Contraindications:

Do not take Bronchostop Duo oral gum:
- if you are allergic to thyme, mallow root or other plants of the Lamiaceae family or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Due to insufficient data available, use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended.

Driving vehicles and using machines:

No studies on the effects on the ability to drive and use machines have been performed.
