Gastrotuss is een geneesmiddel voor de behandeling van gastro-oesofageale of laryngofaryngeale reflux. Het verlicht de symptomen die met deze problemen gepaard gaan, zoals zure oprispingen, brandend maagzuur of een brok in de keel.
Vormen van afgifte
Gastrotuss is verkrijgbaar in de volgende doseringsvormen:
- Gastrotuss Light anti-reflux siroop, hypocalorisch, 200 ml
- Gastrotuss Baby anti-reflux siroop, 180 ml
Gastrotuss bevat sorbitol, simethicone, kaliumbicarbonaat, magnesiumalginaat en andere ingrediënten.
Inticaties voor gebruik
Gastrotuss is geïndiceerd voor de behandeling van gastro-oesofageale reflux of laryngofaryngeale reflux. Het verlicht de symptomen die geassocieerd worden met deze problemen zoals oprispingen, brandend maagzuur of pyrosis, brok in de keel of globus pharyngeus. Het kan ook verlichting geven bij ontsteking van de neuskeelholte, oprispingen, winderigheid, dysfonie of hoesten in verband met reflux. Het wordt gebruikt als adjuvante behandeling om het slijmvlies van de slokdarm te re-epithelialiseren.
Dosering en wijze van toediening
De dosering varieert afhankelijk van de leeftijd en het type product. Gastrotus Light is geschikt voor volwassenen en kinderen vanaf 3 jaar. Gastrotuss Baby is geschikt voor kinderen, inclusief pasgeborenen, maar ook voor oudere kinderen of volwassenen.
Voor volwassenen en kinderen vanaf 12 jaar kan een dosis van 20 ml Gastrotuss Light of Baby worden ingenomen na de hoofdmaaltijd en voor het slapen gaan of zoals voorgeschreven door een arts. Voor kinderen van 3-12 jaar is de aanbevolen dosis Gastrotuss Light of Baby 10-20 ml na de hoofdmaaltijd en voor het slapen gaan of zoals voorgeschreven door een arts. Voor kinderen jonger dan 3 jaar wordt alleen Gastrotuss Baby aanbevolen - 5 ml na de hoofdmaaltijd en voor het slapen gaan. Voor pasgeborenen onder de 5 kg is de aanbevolen dosis Gastrotuss Baby 2,5-3 ml, ongeveer 5-10 minuten na de maaltijd of zoals voorgeschreven door een arts. Als regurgitatie aanhoudt, kan 1 ml worden toegevoegd.
Contra-indicaties
Gastrotuss is gecontra-indiceerd als u allergisch bent voor één van de bestanddelen.
Interacties met andere geneesmiddelen en voedingsmiddelen
Er zijn geen interacties met andere geneesmiddelen of voedingsmiddelen bekend. Informeer uw arts als er reacties optreden tijdens het gebruik van het product.
Bijwerkingen
Dit geneesmiddel is over het algemeen veilig en veroorzaakt geen bijwerkingen.
Overdosering
Neem het geneesmiddel in zoals aanbevolen door uw arts en neem geen overdosis.
Bewaren
Opslaan op een koele, droge plaats, uit de buurt van warmte en vocht.
