This ingredient is a natural source of essential fatty acids (EFAs), including omega-3 and omega-6 acids. Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), an omega-3 fatty acid, and linoleic acid (LA) help maintain normal blood cholesterol levels. The beneficial effect occurs when 2 g of ALA and 10 g of LA are consumed per day. The product is intended for adults to supplement their diet with its active ingredients.
