EasyCare tick extraction devices allow the removal of these parasites from the skin of pets or people in an easy and safe way.

Features:
Through their ergonomic design, they allow extraction without leaving the tick's head embedded in the skin or squeezing it, thus substantially reducing the risk of infection.
At the same time, the devices come in 3 sizes, being adapted to the different stages of tick development: nymphs or adults.
The devices are reusable, but they must be disinfected after each use.

How to use:
Select the size of the device, depending on the size of the tick;
Hold the handle of the device between your thumb and index finger and slide the fork-shaped head to secure the tick between the 2 prongs;
Gently lift the device and twist it 2-3 times until you feel the tick come loose from the skin.
The site of the tick bite should be treated with an effective disinfectant solution. After removing the tick, dispose of it in a hazardous waste container and disinfect the device used with alcohol. Crushing the tick's body should be avoided, as this can release pathogens such as Lyme disease and arboviruses (TBE virus - Meningoencephalitis) directly into the bite wound. This is also why ticks should not be sprayed with oil, petroleum jelly, etc. while they are on the skin, as this also leads to the destruction of their body, spreading pathogens into the wound.
