Suprasorb A Pro
Reinforced calcium alginate dressing

Suprasorb A Pro now contains cellulose fibers in addition to calcium alginate fibers – these have a reinforcing and stabilizing effect, increasing the product's performance. When wound exudate is absorbed, sodium ions are exchanged for calcium ions, creating a gel. Bacteria and cell debris are trapped in this gel, maintaining a moist wound environment.

For the treatment of acute and chronic wounds, whether highly exudative, superficial, or deep.

Indications:

Arterial ulcers
Venous ulcers
Diabetic ulcers
Pressure ulcers
Postoperative wounds
Split-thickness skin graft donor and donor sites

Wound healing phases:

Exudative phase
Granulation phase

Characteristics:

high absorption and retention capacity
Protection of the wound edge
Support of wound healing through autolytic debridement
Binding of bacteria and cell debris in the gel
Removable in one piece
Hemostatic effect

Notes:

Dressing change interval: Depending on the degree of exudation, up to 7 days.
Can be cut to size before application.
Depending on the degree of exudation, it can be fixed with a suitable secondary dressing, e.g. Suprasorb P sensitive.
Can be used under compression.
