Transparent silicone gel dressing for scar treatment

CICA-CARE is a transparent silicone gel dressing for scar treatment and is suitable for both fresh, hypertrophic scars and keloids, as well as old, hardened scar tissue. The dressing can also be applied prophylactically to closed, postoperative wounds after suture removal. Its transparency allows for particularly discreet scar therapy in everyday life.

Features and benefits

The dressing is thin and flexible, so it adheres comfortably to the skin. Thanks to its self-adhesive surface, no additional fixation is required. CICA-CARE boasts a high success rate and is cost-effective, as it can be reused for up to four weeks. It can be easily cut to size and thus individually adapted to any scar size.

Application

The silicone gel dressing is applied to the closed scar being treated. Before application, the skin in the scar area should be prepared accordingly. The dressing is then cut to size so that it completely covers the scar and applied to the skin with the adhesive side facing down. The dressing can be used for an extended period and reused regularly as part of the recommended overall duration of scar treatment.
