Description
Ranloc Med is a medicine for the short-term treatment of the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease in adults . The active substance is pantoprazole 20 mg. The preparation is presented in the form of enteric-resistant oval tablets covered with an acid-resistant layer. Tablets should be taken before meals, at the same time every day, swallowed whole and with liquid.
How does Ranloc Med work?
Reflux is the reflux of acid from the stomach into the esophagus, which can lead to inflammation of the esophagus and cause pain. Symptoms may also include a painful burning sensation in the chest that spreads to the throat (heartburn) and a sour taste in the mouth (acid belching). The pantoprazole contained in Ranloc Med blocks the 'pump' that produces stomach acid. In this way , the medicine reduces the amount of acid in the stomach . Symptoms of reflux disease and heartburn may improve after the first day of taking pantoprazole, but this medicine is not intended to relieve symptoms immediately.
