OstroVit ® A-AKG Shot contains arginine alpha-ketoglutarate, a chemical compound that is a combination of glutaric acid and arginine. Glutaric acid is a product of the citric acid cycle, the final step in the metabolism of all oxygen-breathing organisms, often called the Krebs cycle. In turn, arginine is one of the protein amino acids found in our body. The combination of these two molecules creates a compound with a synergistic effect (two compounds work more effectively together than alone).
