The eye drops contain 0.2% hyaluronic acid – a natural substance also found in the structures of the human eye and in the tear film, making it particularly well-tolerated. Hyaluronic acid is characterized by its high water-binding capacity. Thanks to its mucoadhesive properties, it adheres well to the surface of the eye. HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® Plus thus moisturizes and protects the surface of the eyes, ensuring a smooth, stable, and exceptionally long-lasting film of moisture. The eye drops also contain allantoin. This plant-based active ingredient, derived from comfrey, for example, has a soothing and nourishing effect. In combination with hyaluronic acid, allantoin helps retain moisture. Due to its composition, HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® Plus supports natural cell regeneration as a beneficial moisturizer. The eye drops are phosphate-free and preservative-free. Once opened, HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® Plus has a shelf life of 6 months.

Use with contact lenses:
If you are using HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® Plus eye drops with contact lenses, apply 1 to 2 drops to each contact lens before inserting them, instead of putting the drops directly into your eyes. HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® Plus can also be used while wearing contact lenses.
NOTE: To avoid the transmission of infections, the same bottle of HYLO-VISION® SafeDrop® Plus should not be used by multiple people.
