Clotrimazole cream 10 mg/g, 50 g, Fiterman

Indications:
Clotrimazole Fiterman is a homogeneous, white cream. The active substance of the cream is clotrimazole (imidazole derivative), an antifungal with a broad spectrum of action.
It is indicated in the treatment of the following conditions: cutaneous mycoses caused by Candida albicans, erythrasma, tinea corporis, tinea cruris caused by Trichophyton rubrum, T. mentagrophytes, Epidermophyton
floccosum (Aerothesium floccosum), Microsporum canis, pityriasis versicolor caused by Malassezia furfur, follicular dermatophytes (tinea barbae, tinea capitis), onychomycosis.

Composition:
The active substance is clotrimazole. One gram of cream contains 10 mg of clotrimazole.
The other ingredients are: cetostearyl alcohol, white soft paraffin, polysorbate 80, glycerol, methyl p-hydroxybenzoate (E 218), n-propyl p-hydroxybenzoate (E 216), ethyl alcohol 96%, purified water.

Method of administration:
Apply the cream 2-3 times a day, after washing and drying the affected area (preferably with an alkaline pH soap). Apply a thin layer and massage gently. The duration of treatment is 1-3 weeks for pityriasis versicolor and 2-4 weeks for other dermatomycoses.
To avoid new contamination and reinfection, you must follow personal hygiene measures.
If symptoms do not improve after a week of treatment, medical consultation is recommended.

Contraindications:
Do not use Clotrimazole Fiterman: if you are allergic to clotrimazole or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Precautions:
Avoid using cleaning and maintenance products with acidic pH if an infection due to the microorganism Candida albicans has been confirmed, as acidic pH favors their multiplication.
Avoid contact of Clotrimazole Fiterman with the eyes.
Wash your hands after applying the cream.
The medicine is indicated for cutaneous use only. Do not apply to mucous membranes.
Do not apply the cream to skin with open wounds.
Do not use Clotrimazole Fiterman for nail and scalp infections.
If irritation at the application site or allergic reactions to clotrimazole occur during treatment, you should discontinue treatment.
Clotrimazole is not given to children under 5 years of age.

Pregnancy, lactation and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Clotrimazole Fiterman should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless recommended by a doctor.

Driving and using machines:
Clotrimazole Fiterman does not affect the ability to drive or use machines.
