Calmofluid-T syrup, 100 ml, Tis Farmaceutic

Indications:
Calmofluid-T belongs to the group: expectorants without combinations with antitussives, expectorants, combinations
Bronchopulmonary diseases with viscous sputum, which cannot be eliminated by the mucociliary clearance process and by coughing: tracheobronchitis, acute or chronic bronchitis with irritating cough, and prevention of complications related to pre- and postoperative coughing effort.

Composition:
-The active substances are plantain fluid extract 12.227 g, liquorice fluid extract 12.227 g and ammonium chloride 0.611 g per 100 ml syrup.
-The other ingredients are: methyl p-hydroxybenzoate, propyl p-hydroxybenzoate, sugar for pharmaceutical use, purified water

Method of administration:
1 ml of syrup contains: plantain extract 0.1222 g, liquorice extract 0.1222 g, ammonium chloride 0.0061 g.
5 ml syrup contains: plantain extract 0.611 g, liquorice extract 0.611 g, ammonium chloride 0.0305 g
-Adults and children over 10 years old: the recommended dose is 10 ml of syrup 3-4 times/day.
-Children over 3 years old: the recommended dosage is 5 ml syrup 4 times/day.
-Children between 1 and 3 years: the recommended dose is 2.5 ml syrup 3 times / day.

Contraindications:
Do not use Calmofluid-T in the following cases:
-Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug;
-Ammonia poisoning – uremia, liver cirrhosis;
-Severe hepatic or renal failure;
-States of acidosis, severe respiratory failure;
-Gastritis, gastroduodenitis, evolving gastroduodenal ulcer;
-Puffs.

Precautions:
Take special care when using Calmofluid-T
In patients with diabetes, it is recommended to take into account the sugar content - 621.5 mg/ml - of the medicine.
Since the medicine contains sugar, administration is not recommended in patients with hereditary galactose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome, fructose or lactase, sucrase-isomaltase deficiency.

Pregnancy, lactation and fertility:
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.
The use of the drug during pregnancy or breastfeeding is not recommended because there is no clinical experience regarding administration in these cases.

Driving and using machines:
There is insufficient data on the influence of Calmofluid-T on the ability to drive or use machines.
