What happens in the baby's skin

Children's skin develops from birth to adulthood. The skin's natural barrier takes time to mature, and the antioxidant reserves are not fully formed in children's skin. It is characterized by a very low level of sebum and squalene - two components of the hydrolipid film that protect the skin's natural barrier function - and antioxidant reserves. In the sun, the skin is exposed to the harmful effects of UV radiation. UVA rays, which constitute 95% of the solar spectrum, significantly reduce the antioxidant reserves in the skin. Children's skin, which already has low reserves of antioxidants and an extremely fragile natural barrier, therefore deserves special attention and protection from the sun.

Instructions for use:

• Use only on healthy skin. Suitable for children from birth (except premature babies)
• Before staying in the sun, apply a sufficient amount of product (less amount of product reduces the level of sun protection). Repeat application after swimming or in case of chafing. Do not expose infants and small children to direct sunlight. Make sure children wear protective clothing and use sunscreen on exposed areas. Avoid contact with clothing when applying. Excessive sun exposure is a serious health risk. Do not stay in the sun for too long
• After spending time in the sun, cleanse baby's skin with Atoderm Shower Oil and then apply Atoderm Intensive Baume for nourishing hydration.
