Quatrefolic® is an active form ready for direct use by the body. Studies have shown that Quatrefolic® reached a maximum concentration of the active substance that was more than 3 times higher at 1 hour after administration compared to folic acid and a total bioavailability more than 9 times higher than folic acid. In addition, Quatrefolic® achieved more than 10% higher maximum concentration of the active substance after administration compared to another active form - calcium L-methylfolate.

Folic acid is one of the most important compounds for the child that develops in the womb . The deficiency of this ingredient in the mother is one of the causes of the development, among others: defects of the child's nervous system. Folic acid is also important for the health of expectant mothers and nursing mothers. It helps with proper blood production and maintaining proper homocysteine ​​metabolism . In addition, it supports the functioning of the immune system and helps reduce tiredness and fatigue. The team of the Polish Society of Gynecology recommends women supplement with folic acid at least 6 weeks before trying for a baby and its continuation during pregnancy. It also draws attention to the increased need for folic acid among nursing mothers.

Ingredients: inulin (chicory root), pullulan (capsule shell), folic acid (glucosamine salt of (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid).

Daily serving: 1 capsule once a day during a meal.
