Cosmopor ^® Advance is a sterile, self-adhesive, highly absorbent dressing designed for the treatment of postoperative wounds and cuts. Can be used for normal and sensitive skin.

Cosmopor ^® Advance – advantages

The Cosmopor ^® Advance dressing is a medical device recommended especially for wounds with intense exudate. It is manufactured using DryBarrier ^® technology, which ensures proper drainage of exudate and moisture from the wound to the absorbent layer in one direction, protecting against their reflux. This prevents the creation of a bacteria-friendly environment.

Cosmopor ^® Advance Hartmann dressing uses 3 layers that provide optimal conditions for wound healing:

• contact layer – is the first layer in contact with the wound; polyethylene mesh that does not stick to the wound, making removal of the dressing painless;
• distribution layer - that is, the layer responsible for draining the liquid to the absorbent layer;
• absorbent layer – layer in which SAF superabsorbent fibers with very high absorption properties were used; absorbs and holds fluids and other waste, preventing them from flowing back into the wound, keeping the wound dry.

Cosmopor ^® Advance allows the passage of air and water vapor, allowing the skin to maintain its natural functions. It has rounded corners that prevent the non-woven material from curling and ensures firm adhesion of the skin dressing even after long-term use. The package contains 10 sterile dressings with dimensions of 10 cm x 35 cm.
