Description
AlkoTest is a unique, certified test used to measure the alcohol content of breath. The lowest alcohol level detected by a breathalyzer test corresponds to 0.2‰ (per mile) of alcohol in the blood, i.e. approximately 0.1 mg/l of breath alcohol.
How does a disposable breathalyzer work?
The breathalyzer consists of a glass tube, an active substance in the form of adsorption granules, filters and 2 protective caps packed in aluminum foil. You can start taking AlkoTest at least 15-20 minutes after your last alcohol consumption. The alcohol in the exhaled air reacts with the crystals of the substance inserted in the test tube and, using a colored reaction, allows the approximate level of alcohol in the blood to be determined. You can read the result by comparing it to the colored patterns found on both the breathalyzer and the packaging.
Remember that a blood alcohol content of 0.2‰ per mil can impair the ability to drive, which is a direct threat to the safety of life and health and road traffic hazards for road users. Take an AlkoTest after consuming alcohol and make sure you get home safely. You can place the test discreetly in your first aid kit or car bag and always have it close at hand.
