Food for special medical purposes for the dietary management of hyperhomocysteinemia and vitamin B12 deficiency caused by, among others, anemia, colon resection surgery, and digestive system diseases.

This product contains 1000 µg of vitamin B12 per serving. One cause of hyperhomocysteinemia is vitamin B12 deficiency, which can result from anemia or impaired vitamin B12 absorption following gastrointestinal surgery or chronic gastrointestinal conditions. Therefore, to prevent hyperhomocysteinemia, it is necessary to supplement vitamin B12 deficiency with doses that compensate for impaired absorption due to illness or physiological conditions.

Product free of sugar, salt, starch and gluten.
