The Istel WA-200 BT body composition analyzer is more than just an ordinary one. In addition to measuring body weight, it allows you to determine parameters such as: adipose tissue, muscle tissue, total water content, bone mass, BMI and kcal. The device is intended for use by children aged 10-17 and adults aged 18-85.

To perform measurements, the Istel analyzer uses the bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) method. BIA testing involves measuring the electrical resistance of various tissues in the body. This resistance varies with the water and fat content of the tissues. Tissues rich in water conduct electricity better, while fatty tissues have greater resistance. This allows you to assess your body composition, including the amount of fat and water.

The body composition analyzer has a dedicated, free Istel Health app that allows you to send results from various devices to an app installed on a mobile device, e.g. In the Istel Care system, you can share your results with your doctor or carer. The device allows you to create 8 user profiles.
