Biatain Ibu non-adherent is a soft and flexible foam dressing containing ibuprofen.

Product description:
Unique 3D foam structure for excellent absorption:
When Biatain's unique 3D foam structure comes into contact with wound exudate, it bulges and adapts to the wound bed - even under compression.

Soft and flexible bandage:
Biatain Ibu is a soft and flexible dressing that offers a high level of comfort. The flattened edges reduce the risk of pressure sores.

Combines the properties of the Biatain foam dressing with the local release of ibuprofen:
In the presence of wound exudate, a small dose of ibuprofen is continuously released into the wound bed throughout the entire wearing period of the dressing (up to 7 days).

Wound healing doesn't have to be painful:
Comparative studies showed a reduction in wound pain in patients treated with Biatain Ibu compared to dressings without ibuprofen.

Mode of action:
Ibuprofen is released when the foam comes into contact with wound exudate.

Composition:
Biatain Ibu is an absorbent polyurethane foam containing 0.5 mg/cm2 ibuprofen homogeneously distributed throughout the entire foam matrix.

Use:
Biatain Ibu non-adherent is indicated for a wide range of low to high exuding wounds. These include, among others, acute wounds such as second-degree burns, split-thickness skin graft donor sites, postoperative wounds and abrasions, as well as chronic wounds such as leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, and non-infected diabetic foot ulcers. Biatain Ibu can also be used with compression therapy.
