ReNu is available on the market as a solution in bottles adapted to users' needs: 100 ml, 360 ml, or 500 ml, intended for daily and long-term use.

There are also 2 x 60 ml sets, ideal for travelers or people who want a portable format that is easy to use outside the home.

Regardless of the form, the solution is compatible with all types of soft contact lenses, including modern silicone hydrogel lenses.

ReNu multifunctional solution is indicated for:

• Daily cleaning of contact lenses by removing lipid and protein deposits that accumulate during wear
• Rinsing lenses to remove impurities and solution or dust residues
• Cold chemical disinfection by destroying potentially pathogenic microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, and protozoa
• Storing lenses in a sterile and hydrated environment, preventing them from drying out and ensuring comfort when reinserting them

Proper use of ReNu contact lens solution requires strict adherence to hygiene steps:

1. Apply at least 3 drops of solution to each side of the lens, followed by gentle rubbing for 20 seconds.
2. Rinse the lenses thoroughly for 5 seconds with fresh solution.
3. Place the lenses in the sterile container, completely filled with new solution.
4. Minimum contact time: 4 hours for effective disinfection.

ReNu solution is contraindicated in the following situations:

• Allergy or hypersensitivity to any of the solution's ingredients (e.g., poloxamine, boric acid, disodium edetate, DYMED™)
• Use for medical purposes other than contact lens maintenance
• Direct application to the eyes as artificial tears (the product is not intended for direct topical use)

It is mandatory to use only fresh solution, avoiding reuse of the liquid from the lens container, as it may contain inactive microorganisms or residues.

The solution must be discarded 90 days after opening the bottle.

The lens container should be cleaned daily and replaced periodically to reduce the risk of bacterial contamination.

Although ReNu lens solution is well tolerated, some rare adverse reactions may occur, such as:

• Mild eye irritation, manifested by a burning sensation, stinging, or itching
• Conjunctival hyperemia (redness of the eyes) in cases of increased sensitivity to preservatives
• Dry eyes or temporary discomfort in the first few minutes after putting the lenses back in

Since the solution is not administered systemically, drug or food interactions are practically non-existent. However, it is recommended to:

• Avoid concomitant use of other lens solutions, which may alter the efficacy or chemical stability of the product.
• Follow the ophthalmologist's instructions in patients using topical eye treatment (artificial tears, antibiotic or anti-inflammatory eye drops).

ReNu MultiPlus is intended for external use only. Overdose is extremely unlikely, but in case of accidental ingestion, it is recommended to immediately contact a doctor or go to the emergency room, where appropriate symptomatic treatment will be instituted.

The product should be stored at room temperature (15–25°C), away from direct sources of heat and sunlight. After opening, the bottle should be tightly closed and used within 90 days. Do not freeze and do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.
