Ibucalmin is an anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic medicine commonly used to relieve mild to moderate pain, fever and inflammation. 

Its active ingredient is ibuprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins - chemicals involved in the inflammatory process and the sensation of pain.

Is Ibucalmin suitable for children?

Ibucalmin is not suitable for children under 12 years of age. In this age group other suitable pharmaceutical forms of ibuprofen are available.

Is it safe to use Ibucalmin during pregnancy and breastfeeding?

Ibucalmin is not recommended in the last trimester of pregnancy, and for use in the first two trimesters, you should consult your doctor.

Ibuprofen is excreted in breast milk, which is why it should be avoided in breastfeeding women.

Can I take Ibucalmin with alcohol?
