When dissolved in water, Xenna Balance creates an isosmotic solution, which reduces the risk of dehydration.
Each envelope of the medical device contains 13.125 g of macrogol 3350 - an osmotically active substance, as well as a set of necessary electrolytes. Macrogol 3350 can be taken safely for long periods of time. It has a positive effect on improving the frequency and comfort of bowel movements. It does not ferment in the intestine and does not cause flatulence. In addition, it has a unique ability to bind water, which has a positive effect on the consistency of stools, contributes to the restoration of the appropriate level of hydration of feces, stimulates natural bowel movements and improves their productivity. As a result, it restores the comfort and regularity of bowel movements. Electrolytes prevent the loss of water and important macronutrients and support the maintenance of adequate sodium and potassium levels.
