It helps to protect the patient from relapses by inhibiting the proliferation of plaque on dental materials after conservative and prosthetic procedures. It presents the necessary specifications of different age groups.
Curasept Biosmalt is used for a specific biomedical application, without causing toxic effects on the biological system. It is able to chemically interact with hard dental tissues, by depositing a new mineral phase in continuity with the existing one.

Properties:

• the formula with 3 innovative functional substances based on biomimetic, biocompatible and bioactive materials contributes to the repair and remineralization of enamel and dentine;
• Junior paste 7-12 years contains 1450 Ppm, low abrasion < 30 RDA 75 ml, fruit flavor;
• prevents the appearance of caries and inhibits the formation of plaque on milk and permanent teeth, protects and strongly remineralizes hard tissues and newly formed teeth, protection against acid erosion and abrasion, prevents sensitivity;
• the functional substances in Curasept Biosmalt have chemical, physical, morphological and mechanical properties similar to the biological structure that occurs naturally (enamel and dentin);
• in a physiological environment, these substances can stimulate processes, such as remineralization, which are similar to those occurring in the presence of a natural biological tissue.

Active ingredients:

• Mixture of biomimetic Hydroxyapatite: Partial magnesium-, strontium-, Hydroxyapatite substituted with carbonate, Hydroxyapatite substituted with fluorine, Conjugated with Chitosan.
• Carbonate - produces bioavailable active ions.
• Magnesium - favors nucleation.
• Strontium - stabilizes the newly formed mineral phase.
• Chitosan - prolongs the release of active components.
• Fluoride - strengthens the newly formed mineral phase.
• The affinity of chitosan with enamel facilitates the release of active ions directly on the dental surfaces.
