Description
Sudafed Xylospray DEX nasal spray is a medicine that contains two active substances: xylometazoline in the form of hydrochloride and dexpanthenol. Xylometazoline hydrochloride quickly narrows the blood vessels of the nasal mucosa, reducing its swelling. Dexpanthenol, as a pantothenic acid derivative, accelerates wound healing and protects the nasal mucosa.
The indication for the use of Sudafed Xylospray DEX aerosol is inflammation of the nasal mucosa with swelling, treatment of lesions of the nasal mucosa, alleviation of symptoms of non-allergic inflammation of the nasal mucosa (vasomotor rhinitis) and treatment of nasal obstruction after nasal surgery. The drug is suitable for adults and children over 6 years of age. The 10 ml package contains 80 doses of the solution, which is administered intranasally as a medicine against colds.
