Description
Solutio Jarisch is a boric acid solution. Boric acid slightly slows the growth of bacteria and fungi, has an anti-inflammatory effect. It is mainly used for symptomatic and auxiliary or preventive treatment due to its mild disinfectant, anti-inflammatory and keratoplastic properties, for soothing the irritated skin surface in skin diseases, intertrigo, acute eczema, for follow-up treatment after the treatment of common forms of condyloma accuminatum.
Mode of use
The solution should be applied 1 to 3 times a day to the skin for preventive or therapeutic purposes on the affected area in the form of a poultice. The compress is applied for 10-15 minutes. The drug can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding within the indicated indications. It should not be used in children under 10 years of age. It is not recommended to apply to a large area of burned, macerated or exposed skin, mucous membranes and eyes.
