Indications:
Softigyn is indicated for adult women for:
- Preventing the recurrence of vaginal infections by restoring and maintaining the optimal level of vaginal lactobacilli.
- Restoration of the physiological vaginal flora after antibiotic treatment of bacterial vaginitis.

You should talk to your doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after a short time.

Contraindications:
Do not use Softigyn:
- if you are allergic to any of the components of this medicine.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine.

Softigyn can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding because Lactobacillus plantarum is a non-disease-causing (non-pathogenic) bacterium that is normally present in the vagina of a healthy woman.

Driving vehicles and using machines:
Softigyn has no influence on the ability to drive or use machines.

Mode of administration:
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The recommended dose for adult women is: 1 vaginal capsule per day for 6 consecutive days.
To prevent the recurrence of vaginal infections, after the initial treatment, it is recommended to take one capsule/week for at least 4 weeks or 1 cycle of one capsule/day for 6 consecutive days, once a month for 3 months.

Children and adolescents:

Mode of administration:
Insert one vaginal capsule deep into the vagina, lying down (supine) in the evening before going to bed.

Composition:
- The active substance is Lactobacillus plantarum P 17630. Each vaginal capsule contains 100,000,000 colony forming units (CFU) of Lactobacillus plantarum P 17630.
- The other components are:
Soft vaginal capsules: Sodium ethyl p-hydroxybenzoate - Sodium propyl p-hydroxybenzoate - Medium chain triglycerides - Silica (Aerosil 300) - Gelatin - Glycerol - Dimethylpolysiloxane - Titanium dioxide (E171) - Lactose.
Vaginal capsules: corn starch, mannitol, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, colloidal hydrated silica. Capsule components: gelatin, titanium dioxide (E 171).
